I'm a natural-born-lootfarmer so for me more farming = better, don't get me wrong - I love the game, epic gameplay (especially with melee) and all but if you wanna farm for loot - it's not at this point yet.I'd say game is mostly relatively normal in difficulty on Insane, if you know what to abuse. SW2 has massive potential though but AT THIS POINT there are no farmable bosses only mini-bosses from side missions in "free roam" also there is no real need to farm, as you really need to be unlucky not to get all available weapons. The number of guns is finite at this point (70), when it comes to guns it's not like BL2, where you save-farm Warrior to get the orange you want. I mostly play solo at this point because there is no built-in chat for coop (sadly) and I don't enjoy silent coop games :) I assume I'd be higher level if I'd played in 4ppl coop. After all that I'm level 40 and the cap is somewhere at 90, so a long way to go for me still. My first one was around 20h long with 100% completion, sightseeing and doing most achievements, on my 2nd playthrough I just rushed the main story with no side quests, focusing on objectives and avoiding unnecessary fights and finished it in under 5h. Well, I'm on my third playthrough actually now. So I think it's best that all of you play together from beginning to end for a more enjoyable and arguably balanced game. This means that if all of you start playing from the beginning and stop at a certain mission and each of you try to load into that save in single player, only the host will continue from that certain mission while the others will have to start from the beginning, if they decide to play single player. I've played single player and co-op with my friends and I've had fun doing both.ĭo note though, that while weapons and upgrades progression is saved for everyone, story progression only saves for the host. The looting system as of now isn't very good but there'll be a patch soon which will include a more balanced looting experience.ĭo you have fun ? do you get bored of it fast?įor me personally, I was a huge fan of the gameplay in the previous game and am loving the gameplay in Shadow Warrior 2 as well. Other than that, there's no proper end-game or replayability especially if your first playthrough was on Insane. When you finish the game you can start a new game with your previous weapons and upgrades, this can assist you when starting at a higher difficulty. If you like to explore around finding loot, secrets and killing enemies and side missions, it can take longer than 12 hours. If you only do the main (and side?) missions without exploring, you can probably finish the game within 8-12 hours. This depends on how you and your group of friends play. How long is it ? is there a quick limit, like, in 15 hours, it's finished, you are level max / weapon max, bored to death ? This can lead to an overwhelming amount of enemies with a high amount of health too, of course depending on the difficulty you choose.ĭo you have to connect to a server or do you connect to "each other" peer to peer style ? It's basically the same game as it is in single player, just that you play with more players and enemies scale depending on the player-count and base difficulty you use.
